Raccoon Gibbs
Raccoon was an interesting fellow who came down to the Mall to see what was going on. He normally slept on a park bench in Dupont Circle, which is several miles north of the Mall. I asked him if he could play the guitar he was carrying and we got quite a surprise. He was quite talented as a singer, guitar player and song writer. He slept the night in our tent on the Mall and participated with us throughout the next day. Raccoon died on a park bench in Dupont Circle at the age of 42.
